I have been asked to join a ladies' prayer group which meets every Thursday morning to pray together and to read the King James Version of the Bible. One of the ladies is a Catholic and the others are not. As I, as a Catholic, allowed to join this prayer group?

I see no basic reason why you could not join. However, if there are attacks made upon Catholic belief or practice and you find it difficult to defend these in any discussions, it would be best to leave the group. I suggest you join the group and see how it goes. Of course, you may never put your Catholic Faith in any unnecessary danger. It would b best also if you were in contact with your parish priest, who could advice you about the correct interpretation of the Bible and about any other matters that may arise from your participating in the group.

There is a monastery near Geneva, Nebraska.. I would like to know if the monks there are connected with the Catholic Church.

That monastery has no connection with the Catholic Church in any way. It claims to be of "Gnostic religion," following the ancient heresy of gnosticism. However, some people who have made some inquiries about the group say they also have elements of "new age" nonsense in their beliefs as well as other non-Christian aspects to the influencing. That monastery is a good place to stay away from.

Is there a good book which exposes the evils of the Planned Parenthood organization?

I suggest you read "Blessed are the Barren" by Robert Marshall and Charles Donovan, published by Ignatius.

I am sick and tired of the Catholic bashing that is going on in the American media and in other places. Can I do something about it.

You might contact or even join the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights (1011 First Avenue, New York NY 10022).

Is the anti-Catholic organization "Catholics for a Free Choice" linked with the organization known as "Call to Action"?

Yes. They are joined together in an umbrella group called "Catholic Organizations for Renewal" or "COR." Of course, genuine Catholics will have nothing to do with such groups, which are a danger to faith and morals, or even a contradiction of them. This "COR" also includes groups which foster sexual perversity.

What is this organization "CORPUS"?

The material you sent along with your question seems to indicate that it is an anti-Catholic organization consisting of ex- and fallen priests and their wives. It appears to have a connection with the sect and false religion called "Call- to-Action.'
